What a busy week it has been! A MASSIVE thank you to all of those who came to watch our Nativity performances. The children have worked so hard and it was amazing to see them on the stage. We are so proud of all of them! Well done!
We also had the pleasure of watching The Early Years’ Nativity and Key Stage 2’s Carol Concert. They were all amazing and have definitely got us in the festive spirit.
In English, we interviewed Mr Bennett’s class about what it’s like to be a junior. We will write these up on Monday to form a report.
In Maths, we have been adding and subtracting 10. The children have shown fantastic reasoning and resilience when doing this and both Mrs Slater and I could not believe how quickly they picked it up! Well done guys!
In Design and Technology we finished off our lunch boxes and evaluated our products. We used cardboard to make them stronger and sticky back plastic to make them waterproof. However, next time we would like to ensure that the inside is waterproof and add a larger handle.
Our Learning Hero this week was awarded to the whole class for their excellent performance of ‘A King is Born’.
Our Championship Point winners were Chloe, Aicha and Daniel. Well done!
Our winning house was Honesty. Well done!
